“A Bizarre Tribe: A Quest to the Pharcyde,” alleging among other things that this album incorporated sound recordings owned by Sony Music, including sound recordings which embody the musical performances of A Tribe Called Quest, without Sony Music’s authorization. Gummy Soul has denied any infringement and maintains that the Bizarre Tribe album is protected as fair use. The parties have reached a confidential settlement wherein Gummy Soul has agreed to cease and desist from using, exploiting, distributing and selling the Bizarre Tribe album.”

Newsflash! I have recently been invited to perform as part of a six week series on American popular music at MTSU. On April 26th from 5-6pm you can find me spinning funk jams on the Murfreesboro City Hall Plaza along with b-boys/girls.
