Happy New Year. I wanted to put together a quick recap of 2025: new music, collabs, vinyl, mashups, and a few moments that really stood out.
2025 was a tough year but also a beautiful one. Between becoming a dad and navigating some personal storms, I’m truly grateful for the love and support y’all showed.
If you streamed, shared, copped vinyl, or supported on Bandcamp/Patreon, thank you. I appreciate you more than you know.
If you are short on time, here are the quick links:

2025 Mark Awards win: “The Great Escape”
One of the biggest moments of my career: “The Great Escape” from Cavendsih Archive Reimagined (with Edward White and Napoleon Da Legend) won Hip-Hop / Rap Track of the Year at the 2025 PMA Mark Awards.
It still feels unreal to even type that.
New album: The Storm LP (with Satoru)
Late 2025 marked the release of The Storm LP, the darker, more reflective counterpart to The Sunshine LP.
I poured a lot of love into this project, and it’s some of the most introspective and personal music I’ve ever written.
Soul Sides launch (Back to Cali: Boogie & Bounce)
I launched a brand new instrumental library series called Soul Sides, starting with Back to Cali: Boogie & Bounce, with vinyl drops like Roller Boogie (7-inch + video). The series uses a split-side concept, with one side leaning into boogie and disco grooves and the other flipping into West Coast G-funk and bounce.
The tracks are sample-free, which also makes them flexible for sync.
Unmixable Challenge: Gorillaz x Sister Nancy
Shoutout to Afrodeutsche, host of The People’s Party on BBC Radio 6 Music, for inviting me to take on The Unmixable Challenge. It’s a test where you have to blend two totally different tracks into one seamless mix.
This time around I was tasked with Gorillaz x Sister Nancy, flipping it into my mashup “Dirty Bam Bam“. Hope you dig the results!
Collabs: The Gamersician – Better With Friends (rap + scratches)
I teamed up with The Gamersician for two rap and scratch collabs for his videogame-inspired album Better With Friends:
-
Too Strong (Street Fighter III: Third Strike) [Watch video]
-
The Final Lap (Mario Kart) [Watch video]
These were especially fun for me because it’s literally two of my worlds colliding. hip-hop and gaming.
Croatia highlights: BARS + Balkan Loves Dilla

I was honored to produce the title track for BARS’ LP Skupe Stvari, continuing to build with dope artists here in Croatia.
I also shared a recording of my Balkan Loves Dilla DJ set in Zagreb during Dilla Month. It was a special night, and I’m glad I could archive it and make it available.

Scratches: Dox & Domincello – Second Wind EP

I also got to jump on a few projects this year with guest scratches/features, including cuts for Dox Amil & Domincello (Second Wind EP).
If you ever need cuts on a track, hit me up. I’m always down to build.
Looking ahead
I’m taking a little time to map out 2026 properly. i’ve got some soulful remixes / edits I’ve been cooking up, plus some original rap and instrumental projects in the works as well. I’ll share more details when it’s ready.
Thanks to everyone who listened, shared, and supported along the way.
