Honored to share that The Great Escape — a collaboration between myself, composer Edward White, and emcee Napoleon Da Legend — has won Best Hip-Hop/Rap Track at this year’s Production Music Association (PMA) Mark Awards!
The track was released as part of Cavendish Archive Reimagined: Amerigo Gazaway Edition — golden era hip-hop built entirely from ‘60s and ‘70s records in the Boosey & Hawkes and Cavendish Archive. The album features my production and lyrical contributions, alongside verses from Napoleon Da Legend, Dillon, and Awon.
