This is a remix I did back in 2018 when I got to open up for Blackalicious in Berkeley. Their music has had a profound impact on me over the years and I feel blessed to have shared some time and space with them, if only for a brief moment. They put on an amazing show that night and the energy that Gift of Gab brought to the room was undeniable.
Lyrically Gab was an incredible force to be reckoned with and his words, thoughts, and music will continue to live in our hearts and collective consciousness forever. Rest in power to a true Bay Area legend, the irreplaceable Gift of Gab. – AG
