“You have to kind of maintain a faith in the process in that something cool is going to happen if you stay focused and you keep playing with the samples or the colors or whatever it is you’re trying to create art out of. I think that an important lesson I’ve learned as an artist is to just keep pushing because it could lead to really unexpected combinations and stories and things you would have never even thought of originally.”
