B-BOP and RCKSTDY are fearless, mutant machine-gun wielding thugs. They follow the orders of the evil supervillain Shredder, leader of the Foot Clan. Their names both originate from various genres of music: Bebop, a style of Jazz, and Rocksteady, a kind of Jamaican Music, a precursor to Reggae, and Military (Marching Band) music. B-Bop and Rocksteady used to be human, and part of a street gang that was employed by Shredder. They are now armed with machine-guns and automatic assault rifles, as well as various other types, makes, and models of firearms and laser weaponry from both Earth and Dimension X. In addition to being ruthless killers, they also know how to rock a party until the walls cave-in. When they are not out wreaking havoc they can probably be found back at the TechnoDrome working on some hot new isht for you to ride to.
